The complete list of official James Bond films, made by EON Productions. Beginning with Sean Connery, and going through George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. Have you ever wondered how many James Bond movies there are? The newest film, Spectre, was released in October 2015. Special agent 007 (Sean Connery) comes face to face with one of the most notorious villains of all time, and now he must outwit and outgun the powerful tycoon to prevent him from cashing in on a devious scheme to raid Fort Knox — and obliterate the world’s economy.

Just this morning, the title and cast of the 24th film in the James Bond franchise were announced from the 007 stage in London. Sam Mendes, director of Skyfall, is rumored to be directing… wait for it… Spectre.

Pronounced “spek-ter,” Daniel Craig, AKA the best Bond in the history of Bonds, will be back in the lead role, with Chistoph Waltz as the classic villain Oberhauser. Ralph Fiennes will be playing the new M, and Ben Whishaw will be returning as Q. The voluptuous Monica Bellucci will be Bond’s gal, and Léa Seydoux of Blue is the Warmest Color is set to play Madeline Swann.

There’s a November 6, 2015 stamp on the film’s IMDb page, so you have plenty of time to revisit your favorite Bond films or check out films in the franchise you haven’t seen yet. Here’s where you can stream them all before next year.

The one where the theory that cats have multiple lives was disproved. [Where to stream You Only Live Twice]

  • It's phenomenal!

A bit much? Yes, but it's meant to be. Like Doctor No and From Russia with Love, the two previous Bond bombshells, this picture is a thriller exuberantly travestied.

There's not the least sign of staleness in this third sample of the Bond 007 formula.

This 1964 entry is the most enjoyable of the James Bond thrillers starring Sean Connery -- perhaps because it's the most comic and cartoony in look as well as conception.

Presented here in a newly restored digital print, it should look especially swish on the big screen.

... what they give us in Goldfinger is an excess of-science-fiction fun, a mess of mechanical melodrama and a minimum of bedroom farce.

Goldfinger really is a dazzling object lesson in the principle that nothing succeeds like excess.

[VIDEO ESSAY] 'Goldfinger' set in stone the formula for what would become cinema's longest running and most reliably entertaining franchise. Regardless of how many installments have come since, 'Goldfinger' retains its reputation as the best of the bunch.

All the tropes are genre highs, from the iconic title song to the archetypal cool car to the endlessly quotable sadistic one-liners.

Ours not to reason why with 'Goldfinger'; ours but to gape and admire; which is very easy and enjoyable until the story's iceberg of extravagance finally appears in its true proportions.

For 007 fans or action adventure/spy movie fans in general, it really doesn't get much better than 'Goldfinger,' a tremendous blockbuster that entertains on every level.

GOLDFINGER, for me, isn't the perfect Bond movie (though it does have all the elements to be perfect), but it's still a fun, corny time. Definition of a popcorn movie.
